Electrician

Summary of the Role:
Toro Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join an innovative engineering services provider operating in the water industry across the South of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, testing, and commissioning on client sites, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct electrical installations and refurbishment on water company sites in line with project specifications.
Perform testing and fault-finding on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and other standards.
Travel to client sites and occasionally stay overnight during the week based on project needs.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including survey reports and installation certificates.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support mechanical trades as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical installation and testing.
17th or 18th Edition certification (essential).
City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (advantageous).
ECS Gold Card holder or the ability to obtain one.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to work in confined spaces.
