Our client, a prominent organisation in the maritime and defence sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrician for a 3-month contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to vital defence projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical design and implementation
- Performing PAT testing to ensure electrical safety
- Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently
- Fabricating and assembling electrical cables, specifically 110v
- Maintaining and updating electrical systems and components
- Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations
- Documenting and reporting on electrical work and maintenance activities
Job Requirements:
- Approved Electrician with relevant certification
- Experience in electrical design and implementation
- Proficiency in PAT testing and electrical fault finding
- Ability to make and assemble electrical cables
- Understanding of maritime and defence sector requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
