We're seeking a talented and experienced Electrician or Estimator to join our clients dynamic & fast expanding team, in Portsmouth, Hampshire.If you're passionate about electrical work and have a knack for accurate estimating or want to learn how to be an estimator, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate the cost of electrical projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare detailed cost proposals and submit them to clients within deadlines.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrician or Estimator.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
