Maintenance Electrician | Portsmouth | 41,000 - 46,000+ Van and employment package | Weekly Pay | Commercial Environments.

We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Electrician to join the team as a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for working on a mobile basis across Portsmouth, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across commercial environments.

Works:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician, you may carry out the following works; Light fittings, decorative / safety / security lighting, emergency light testing, lamps, ballasts, sockets, circuits, lighting upgrades, electrical fault finding, transformers, power distribution, temporary power supplies, street lighting, installing, repairing and replacing electrical accessories, power supplies and electrical components to fire,security and HVAC systems, fire alarm testing etc.

Requirements:

In order to be considered for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician role, we expect you to meet the following criteria;

  • Must be a fully qualified Electrician to one of the following standards: NVQ Level 3, C&G 2360 part 2, C&G 2330 Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience working within commercial environments / with commercial systems is a large benefit.
  • If you have 2391 testing and inspection certificates then this will qualify for higher rate.
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance is a large benefit.
  • Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
