DV Cleared Cyber Security Architect | Outside IR35

SR2 has been engaged by a leading public sector SME to help support a pivotal client on an initial 6-month outside IR35 contract with a view to extend.

This role is central to the cybersecurity team and the rest of the project team. It involves working closely with cross-functional teams and collaborating with associated suppliers.

Due to the nature of the work, we require active DV Clearance and the ability to come on-site at least two days per week in Portsmouth.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for the cyber risk transformation programme with effective design and implementation management
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to internal senior managers on appropriate cyber risk strategies, emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Champion organisational change by obtaining a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience within all layers of the department
  • Delivery workshops and training sessions

Skills / Experience

  • Professional certifications or a degree in cybersecurity or related fields
  • Expericne leading successful cyber risk transformation programmes and initiatives
  • Cybersecurity frameworks - ISO27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
  • Stakeholder management

This is an outside IR35 role, paying £600-650p/d with 2 days a week on-site in Portsmouth with 1 stage interviews taking place next week.
