A regional Civil Engineering and Utilities Contractor is seeking a Streetworks Co-ordinator / Planner work work from its Portsmouth depot
Job description
- Assisting the Project manager in planning the work.
- Liaising with managers and supervisors.
- Communicating with Highway authorities, Traffic management companies and site meetings.
- Applying for Opening/Closing Streetworks permits.
- Appling for Temporary Traffic Road Order (TTRO), parking, bus stop, loading bays and taxi rank suspensions.
- Recording registration, defects and fixed penalty fines.
- Ensure site management is aware of and provided with up-to-date permit numbers, conditions information.
- Keeping records to assist Commercial Department.
Job requirements
- Experience would be good; training will be provided.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good presentation preparation and delivery skills
- Good writing skills for reports, for internal and external communication
- Highly self-motivated, a confident communicator at any level and sets a high standard through example regarding compliance with company safety standards
