Environmental Advisor - Civils & Water - Portsmouth
SSA are currently recruiting for an expanding Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who arelooking for an Environmental Advisor to join their successful team in the delivery of a major project in the South of England for Portsmouth Water.
This role will focus on Net Zero, & Carbon Capture - to aid the companies sustainability goals by implementing new ideas and making sure the company is compliant to existing legislations.
The role will involve;
- Promoting continuous improvement of environmental & sustainability performance;
- Productionof Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans;
- Advise in the investigation of near-miss & accidents relating to the environment & provide improvement suggestions;
- Assist with tenders & presentations to external bodies;
- Undertake audits and inspections;
- Coordinate with SHEQ department in all matters

You will need:
- 1+ years experience in Environmental & Sustainability
- Qualification in HSEQ or Environmental or Sustainability subject area
- Right to work in the UK
