Environmental Advisor - Civils & Water - Portsmouth

SSA are currently recruiting for an expanding Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who arelooking for an Environmental Advisor to join their successful team in the delivery of a major project in the South of England for Portsmouth Water.

This role will focus on Net Zero, & Carbon Capture - to aid the companies sustainability goals by implementing new ideas and making sure the company is compliant to existing legislations.

The role will involve;

  • Promoting continuous improvement of environmental & sustainability performance;
  • Productionof Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans;
  • Advise in the investigation of near-miss & accidents relating to the environment & provide improvement suggestions;
  • Assist with tenders & presentations to external bodies;
  • Undertake audits and inspections;
  • Coordinate with SHEQ department in all matters

You will need:

  • 1+ years experience in Environmental & Sustainability
  • Qualification in HSEQ or Environmental or Sustainability subject area
