We're looking for a diligent Finance Analyst who will contribute to our client's financial well-being by providing accurate data-driven insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial performance, forecasting future performance and assisting with strategic decision-making.

Description
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Strong understanding of retail industry practices and trends.
- Experience using financial software and databases.
