Senior Financial Analyst

CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting on an exclusive basis for a Senior Finance Analyst to join an international manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire. This role will support a key area of the business which has recently seen an increase in activity. As such this position is ideally suited to a high calibre candidate looking to further progress their career.

What will the Senior Financial Analyst role involve?

• Lead major projects within the business and supply commercial information to non-finance personnel. This will include extensive liaison with senior stakeholders;
• Analyse, forecast and price long term contracts of significant value while ensuring they operate within budget and agreed timeframes;
• Initiating variance analyses to provide understanding of operational and financial performance of individual contracts;
• Develop performance reports to promote understanding and project performance;
• Liaise extensively with both internal and external key stakeholders to establish financial performance against KPI’s.

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Financial Analyst opportunity:

• Candidates from a large business background and possessing commercial finance experience in dealing with long term projects/contracts will be of interest to this client;
• Strong business partner skills will be needed to deliver this role successfully;
