Whether it’s school runs, personal commitments, or simply your preferred routine, you can choose a schedule that works for you (minimum 25 hours per week).Following a recent acquisition, you’ll take full ownership of the finance function, embedding solid financial processes and playing a key role in shaping the company’s future. With more acquisitions on the horizon, you’ll make a lasting impact while enjoying a supportive and adaptable working environment.You’ll work closely with the business owner in a small but ambitious company that values your expertise and gives you the autonomy to manage finance operations in a way that suits you.   • Remote working with occasional office visits throughout the year
  • Flexible working hours – minimum 25-30 hours per week, work around your commitments
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)

  • ÂŁ35,000 salary (pro rata for part-time)
Reporting to the Owner, you will be:
  • Managing financial operations – bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Processing payroll and timesheets – ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Keeping cashflow in check – raising invoices, handling supplier payments and monitoring finances
  • Preparing financial reports – management accounts where possible and support with forecasting
  • Handling administrative tasks – overseeing business and fleet insurance, managing meetings and handling occasional calls
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance and Office Manager / Finance Manager / Office Manager / Bookkeeper / Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant
  • Bookkeeping and finance experience – ideally in a small business
  • A methodical and logical approach
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero
