Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with an International organisation, based in Portsmouth, in their search for a Temporary Finance Manager on a 3-month basis.Rate - £280-350 per day (inside IR35)Hybrid workingResponsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations (including creation of journal entries) 
  • Prepare monthly departmental reports within tight deadlines with explanations of significant variances against budget for all entities
  • Ensure the timely production and review of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journals in accordance with the company accounting policies, for the three UK entities
  • Process the purchase ledger and prepare weekly payment runs to ensure invoices and staff expenses are paid within terms for the above entities.
  • Process the bank transactions and prepare the reconciliations. Assist with the automation of this process.
  • Monitor cash flow and bank balances

Skills/Experience:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience 
  • Strong IT Skills – Microsoft office, accounting systems and particularly advanced Excel essential. 
  • Organised and efficient with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (both internally and externally) and able to communicate financial information to non-finance staff
