A highly successful automotive business is seeking a Management Accounts Manager to join the team in Portsmouth.Your RoleWhile in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing and delivering the management accounts, forecasts, budgets and financial reconciliations within a timely and accurate manner
  • Mentoring the finance team on matters relating to reporting and processing, such as management accounts, year-end reporting and weekly trading, to ensure compliance
  • Managing the cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Handling balance sheet reconciliations, resolving any issues quickly and ensuring reconciliations are done accurately
  • Supporting the development of processes relating to forecasting and budgeting, challenging when appropriate with the aim on strengthening financial planning
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors, providing information as needed, responding to queries and making sure the company adheres to audit requirements
  • Leading the finance team, ensuring challenges and objectives are met, supporting their development and identifying areas of improvement
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3-5 years of post-qualified experience
  • Excellent experience from within either a financial management or management accounting role
  • Good technical accounting exposure, ideally from within either a leasing environment (or good technical leasing accounting) or an FCA regulated environment
  • Strongly skilled in forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Good systems and IT knowledge, including SAP
  • Strong leadership/team management skills
