You will be working for an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisors operating across the UK, Nordics and the USA. They have seen dramatic growth in recent years which has made them the 9th largest accountancy firm in the UK, and as a result of this growth, they are now looking to invest in their skills set even further.

As an Outsourcing Director, you will lead a large outsourcing team of all levels, from trainee to manager, and be responsible for the success of the department, while managing client relationships, winning work and developing your team. You will be working closely with your clients to understand their business needs and ensure they are provided with a personal and tailored service for both day to day compliance and advisory aspects by both you and the team you lead. As well as managing your own portfolio, you will be assisting the managers with running the department administration and proactively spotting and developing opportunities for the Group and collaborating with other departments as appropriate.

You will also be responsible for people management and direction linked to people strategy and the overall strategy of the team and group and represent the business area through proactive involvement in groupwide meetings. Responsibility for the full training cycle of the client area in line with the strategic plan is also in your remit, as well as looking for continuous improvement within the team and across the Group.

You will need to be ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified and able to analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities. You will possess senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients whilst leading a team. You will be a confident communicator able to make decisions, solve problems and take appropriate action, as well as seek new business opportunities. You will be a proven work winner and have a passion for providing outsourcing services to clients, with the ability to provide high level advisory support to our clients, on an outsourced financial director basis.
