Sonic Summary

Our Nationwide Distribution client is seeking Class 1 Drivers for Trunking at their busy Depot, with immediate starts available for afternoon and night shifts, including weekends.
Candidates must hold a C+E license for at least 12 months and have a minimum of 3 continuous months of recent work recorded on their Digi Card, with no infringements.
The role involves completing the collection and delivery of goods while following company procedures, ensuring goods are secured and paperwork is in order, without multi-drop or hand balling.
Pay rates are attractive, with £17 per hour for weekdays, £21.50 per hour for Saturdays, and £25 per hour for Sundays, with overtime rates at £24 per hour after 8 hours.
A smart appearance, good knowledge of the English language, and effective communication skills with clients and staff are essential for this position.

Due to busy demands, our well known Nationwide Distribution client is looking for Class 1 Drivers for Trunking at their busy Depot, with immediate start

Afternoon and nights

Weekends available.

Working 9 to 14 hour shifts - Minimum 8 hrs guaranteed per shift.

You will need to have held a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months (for insurance purposes), with at least 3 continuous months worth of recent work showing on your Digi Card - NO INFRINGEMENTS!

Overall objective: To assist with the smooth running of deliveries from depot to hub.

Main duties/responsibilities:

To complete collection and delivery of goods whilst following company procedures (NO HAND BALLING) - NO MULTI DROP

Ensure goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order

Follow company security procedures

Keep vehicle clean at all times

Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors

Knowledge/understanding required:

Full UK ( C+E ) driving license required.

Smart appearance.

Good Knowledge of the English language CPC, digital tachocard IT knowledge/understanding required

The ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the Job

The ability to communicate effectively with the client and other members of staff in the operations and warehouse departments
