The HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver position in Portsmouth offers a temp-to-perm opportunity with a pay rate of £16.50 per hour (Umbrella).
This role requires a valid Class C (HGV Class 2) Licence, Driver CPC, and Digi Tacho Card, along with physical fitness to assist with loading.
Drivers will work Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours per week, with no weekend or bank holiday shifts.
Responsibilities include driving a refuse truck, navigating routes, assisting with loading waste, and providing excellent customer service.
Candidates must also be strong team players and able to pass a driving assessment prior to starting the role.

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected local client in Portsmouth, Havant.

?? What you'll be doing:

Driving a Class 2 refuse truck as part of a supportive waste collection team
Navigating routes between domestic and commercial customers
Assisting with loading waste at collection points
Emptying the vehicle at the depot
Delivering top-notch customer service and following health & safety procedures at all times

? What we need from you:

A valid Class C (HGV Class 2) Licence, Driver CPC, and Digi Tacho Card
Physically fit and able to assist with the loading when needed
A strong team player who takes pride in their work
Ability to pass a driving assessment before starting
