Your new companyYour new company is dedicated to maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade, procurement and managed services provision across electronics, components and general equipment support. The company is an established business with a strong heritage within repair and maintenance of components. Your new roleAs a Field Service Engineer looking after Medical / Dental equipment, you will inspect, install, service and repair a range of medical, dental, and veterinary equipment whilst working predominantly at customer sites. In this position, you will be responding to equipment failures and urgent service requests within your area while adhering to operational protocols and procedures, escalating any instances of non-adherence. The role requires the ability to work independently, necessitating the demonstration of the capability to work autonomously, confidently diagnose faults, and make well-informed technical decisions. Having a customer-centric approach and possessing strong communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with Practice Managers and staff. You will be equipped with a work van for transportation, along with a fuel card. On starting the role, you will be required to complete a fully funded 6-week training course. The role is Monday - Friday, working 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 13:00 What you'll need to succeed

  • You will hold a Level 4 qualification or Level 3 qualification with a nationally recognised engineering apprenticeship and some engineering experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant experience of a field-based servicing role, ideally with medical/dental equipment
  • This role requires SC clearance - you must be able to obtain security clearance prior to starting the role
