We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Insurance organisation within their Medical Assistance department who are looking for a Registered Nurse to join their growing team working in the Portsmouth office with hybrid work available once training is completed.


As a Nurse Coordinator you will be responsible for providing emergency medical support, triage and treatment to travellers on a global basis who have encountered a medical issue. No two days will be the same, every case will be totally different in a different part of the world. You could deal with a heart attack patient in China whilst managing a critical ski accident in France, making decisions on how to respond quickly and accurately to provide the best appropriate care.


This role will be working in a large team of Nurses and Doctors and you will be supported by a multilingual Medical Assistance team who provide non medical support to customers and support with all worldwide logistics.

Experience:

  • NMC registration is essential
  • Min 5 years port reg experience which must of been in acute setting - A&E, ICU, ITU
  • Experience gained within a Medical Assistance/Flight/Case Management role also desirable but not essential

Hours:

  • Initial 3 months in the Portsmouth office for training, thereafter hybrid working in place
  • Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts between 8am to 8pm
  • 1 in 6 weekend shifts with time given back to you the following week
