Test & Inspection EngineerPertemps are excited to be working with a leading provider of specialist services who are recruiting for a Test & Inspection Engineer to cover the Portsmouth area.
This is a full-time permanent role and is fully field base in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas.Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Electrical installation condition reports in commercial and industrial environments.- Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear and control equipment.- Identify and document defects, non compliance and potential safety hazards.- Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.- Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.- Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions and provide technical advice.Requirements:- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field- City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing- NVQ Level 3- 18th Edition- In depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring regulations and other relevant standards and codes- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively- Valid UK Driving licenceThe Role:- Salary of £34,000 + Bonus- OTE £45,000 - £55,000- Fully expensed company van- Monday to Friday- Additional Night work avilalbe and an increased rate- Full time permanent salary
