This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior advisor looking to gain exposure and development within a leading Tier 1 contractor that can offer exceptional progression and growth with exposure to phenomenal civils schemes, including Highways, Rail, Aviation, Energy and more.
About the role of Health & Safety Advisor
The Health & Safety Advisor will be joining a phenomenal longstanding H&S team who have built an exceptional ethos within the business. Within the role of H&S advisor you will be responsible for supporting site teams and the wider business ensuring H&S is a priority throughout. The H&S advisor will be joining a 100M scheme for 3-4 years working for the local authority.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor
- Proactively promote health and safety throughout the business, setting a good example to employees and stakeholders.
- Support operational teams with H&S standards and maintenance of H&S standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits.
Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor
- Relevant degree or NEBOSH Diploma
- CSCS Card
- Previous experience with BS OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001
- Up to date understanding of current Health & Safety legislation's.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
My client has an excessive order book spanning over the next five years, projects ranging from 250,000 - 30bn, Projects including HS2 & CP7/8
