Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling role as a SEND Teaching assistant.
We are currently seeking SENDTeaching Assistants to provide exceptional support to children of all ages with varying needs around the Portsmouth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND
- As a SEND teaching assistant you will assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Support students with their social and emotional development
- Collaborate with other staff members and specialists to meet individual student needs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students

What do you need?
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working with pupils with special needs, including autism, mental health needs, and challenging behaviour, is desirable.
