Working Pattern: Full Time 35 to 38 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent contract offered after a probation period (temp to perm)
Salary: £19,000 to £25,000

Job Responsibilities:
As a Student Engagement Worker, you will play a key role in enriching the learning journey for our students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-to-one or group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assisting in preparing and organising educational resources.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to enhance the school community.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Engagement Worker, or a similar role.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic school setting.
- A positive and proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration.
Safeguarding and Child Protection:
This role requires a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection. The successful candidate must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced child DBS on the update service.
