We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processes in our Accounting & Finance department. They have a robust Accounting & Finance department that ensures smooth financial operations.
Description
- Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for the company.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepare reports summarising payroll expenses for the Accounting & Finance department.
- Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments).
- Coordinate with HR to verify employee data and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Supervise and coach a team of payroll clerks.
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a payroll manager.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll software systems and procedures.
