We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processes in our Accounting & Finance department. The role requires proficiency in payroll systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the retail industry.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for the company.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepare reports summarising payroll expenses for the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments).
  • Coordinate with HR to verify employee data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Supervise and coach a team of payroll clerks.
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.

Profile

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a payroll manager.
