Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Overview:A manufacturer of speciality chemicals is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support to its UK and European customer & distributor network. The role combines product expertise with customer-facing work and requires someone with an engineering background and a practical, solution-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to distributors and customers via phone, email and on-site visits
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Support customer trials, handle product quality complaints and assist with investigations
  • Create and maintain technical datasheets, case studies and knowledge databases
  • Host webinars, assist with exhibitions and contribute to marketing content

Requirements:

  • Engineering-based degree
  • Engineering bias with hands-on, problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (UK and Europe)
