Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Overview:A manufacturer of speciality chemicals is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support to its UK and European customer & distributor network. The role combines product expertise with customer-facing work and requires someone with an engineering background and a practical, solution-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to distributors and customers via phone, email and on-site visits
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Support customer trials, handle product quality complaints and assist with investigations
- Create and maintain technical datasheets, case studies and knowledge databases
- Host webinars, assist with exhibitions and contribute to marketing content
Requirements:
- Engineering-based degree
- Engineering bias with hands-on, problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel occasionally (UK and Europe)
