SAP Analyst
Flexible locations with hybrid working arrangements, up to £65k.
We are delighted to be supporting a global engineering business with the recruitment of an SAP Analyst to join their growing SAP specialist team.
This is a crucial role within the SAP organisation and is responsible for the functional support, analysis, configuration and continuous improvement of the SAP Procurement & Supply Chain.
You’ll be working closely with customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality. The functional analyst adds value to the SAP organisation through their knowledge of the SAP MM, MRP, Procurement, WM/IM, SCP and QM solutions and knowledge of its integration with other modules (FI-CO/PS/HR/PM) and other third-party systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide specialist level functional and configuration support for the SAP solutions in the Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Management modules of ECC 6 solution.
- Sound support and business process knowledge of Procurement, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Material Requirement Planning.
- Good configuration knowledge of Master Data (Material & Vendor Master), Procurement Process, Account Determination & Valuation of Material, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Requirement Planning.
- Good understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between separate functional modules of SAP (PS/FI-CO/MM/HR/PM).
- Work with the Service Desk and the SAP team to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
About you:
Essential experience:
- Hands-on experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Planning, Warehouse Management configuration and support
- Experience of Ariba or related Third Party products.
- Integration experience with other SAP Modules/Solutions and Third-Party systems.
- Excellent understanding of all business processes within these modules.
- Proven functional support knowledge of Material Management, Warehouse Management and Inventory modules/solutions to meet the business needs of Babcock cross-divisional back and front office processes.
- A university degree or relevant experience in Procurement & Supply Chain or Information Management
Please note - the successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
1 day required on site per week, with some travel required to other UK sites occasionally.
