Overview:
In this role, you will be primarily involved in preparing, performing, testing and commissioning marine automation related activities in support of new build, upgrade and service related projects.
In this role you will focus on:
- Comply with both company and customer EHS policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
- Maintaining personal competence by completing all applicable training in line with company requirements.
- Contributing to and leading an FSE team for various engineering activities as directed by Resource Managers.
- Carrying out marine service administrative tasks as directed by the marine service manager.
Experiences Required:
- Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from a reputable College or University; alternatively, you'll have experience working on on large automation systems.
- Experience working with PC/PLC equipment.
- Experience and knowledge of PLC programming ladder diagram and function blocks.
- Experience of work on larger Automation Systems with HMI PCs.
- Understanding of networks/network equipment and communication protocols like Modbus.
- Established record of site work.
