Translations Project ManagerSalary: £27,000- £30,000

Based in Portsmouth

Hybrid role: 3 days in office, 2 days at home

A global business consultancy is looking for a Translation Project Manager to join their team based in Portsmouth. You will oversee and streamline the translation process across their European region. This role is key in ensuring high-quality translations using AI tools and validators.

Duties Include:

  • Program Management - Oversee translation efforts across Europe, setting standards and best practices.
  • Project Management - Manage translation projects from start to finish, collaborating with Account Managers and teams.
  • Process Improvement - Develop efficient workflows, using AI and automation to enhance speed and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams to create seamless translation solutions.
  • Vendor Relations - Act as the point of contact for translation software providers, supporting team training and updates.
  • Community Building - Connect with regional translation managers, linguists, and support teams to share knowledge and refine best practices.

Experience Required

  • 2 to 3 year's experience in program or project management
  • Multi-lingual, with a strong preference for English and French ideally.However, English is essential at a fluent level for this role.
  • Experience working with translations software such as Phrase advantageous
  • Self-driven and adaptable
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Digitally savvy
