This role involves providing subject matter expertise to support the technical delivery of secure end-to-end radio solutions in a multi-bearer, mobile environment from design to delivery and transition to service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams or collaborate within a team to ensure solutions are integrated and technically leading projects, being accountable for their technical success
- Independently create and run test plans and schedules, and contribute towards strategy decisions
- Validate design documents against system requirements and produce appropriate test documentation
- Deliver demonstrations and presentations on technical subjects to senior stakeholders and industry partners
- Identify and resolve technical issues using in-depth knowledge of communications principles
Job Requirements:
- Qualified to a degree level in a relevant subject or extensive experience in the communications industry
- Experience providing technical leadership with demonstrable competence speaking to stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of military communication systems and utilisation of the full frequency spectrum
- In-depth knowledge of commercial telecommunications technology such as microwave, Wi-Fi, 4G, and LTE
- Proven experience conveying complex information to non-specialist audiences
