Senior DB Pensions Administrator (Technical Expert / Scheme Transitions)

Portsmouth - Remote or Hybrid

An award-winning Pensions Consultancy who advises on some of the UK’s largest Schemes are experiencing significant growth within their Pension Administration Teams. They are looking to recruit ambitious individuals who are seeking to develop their skills and careers by offering excellent training, mentoring and plenty of career advancement opportunities. This role sits in the Pensions Administration Technical Team who provide complex advice to pension administration teams across the UK, help solve transitioning queries, provide mentoring and help implement changing legislation and regulatory requirements.

Specifics of the role include -

  • Provide advice, support and act as a referral point for complex technical pension requirements from UK pension administration teams.
  • Develop strong working relationships with departmental managers and be on hand to provide expert pensions knowledge to a wide range of schemes.
  • Conduct training and develop training materials to assist colleagues with knowledge development.
  • Assist with the development of systems and automated calculations configurations.
  • Take part in management meetings to discuss team knowledge developments, innovations, efficiencies, projects, new client onboarding and errors.
  • Provide advice on scheme transitioning through buy-in, buy-out and day to day bulk annuity administration.
  • Help interpret and implement changes to pensions legislation framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance as required.
