What are we looking for?

  • Excellent command of English language in order to effectively and accurately develop content and make revisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow the company's style guides - which detail expectations regarding voice, formatting, and layout - are essential.
  • The applicant should be skilled in PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Well organised with ability to understand scientific terminology.

Working knowledge of SEO and marketing would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience of working within the biopharmaceutical / biotechnology industry, would be advantageous but is not essential.

Main responsibilities:

  • Based in Portsmouth, UK, the role focuses on the editing, revising, and finalising of content, to deliver engaging written and visual content, to support our products and events.
  • It includes proofreading and editing written content for any spelling, grammatical or syntax issues, and for compliance to Cytiva marketing processes and standards. For some content, you would be working with external designers to produce graphics and/or to design the content to corporate brand guidelines and templates.
  • The role involves working closely with a global team, including (but not limited to) product marketing, editorial writers, and technical writers, to agreed deadlines.
