Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Family Lawyer to join its expanding team in either Portsmouth or Waterlooville in Hampshire.

My client is a Lexcel accredited & reputable multi-service Law Firm covering the South Coast.

The suitable candidate for this role will be a qualified (preferably 1 years + PQE) boasting demonstrable and varied experience within Private Family. Your role will be to take on a caseload of your own private Family clients along with a small percentage of legal aid clients. The legal aid work is spread fairly across the team. You will strive to provide your clients with the best proactive and practical advice whilst managing your work in a timely manner.

The Role & Responsibilities:

• Take on a caseload whilst also looking to network• Conduct advocacy and always work towards the best possible result• Create lasting relationships with clients from vastly differing backgrounds built upon success• Be key in further growing the already excellent reputation of the family department

Person Specification:

• Commitment to providing excellent client care• Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts• Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements• Team-focus with a flexible "can do" and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.• Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships
