Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a skilled Quality Manager for our client based in Portsmouth, who work within the marine engineering industry.Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Manager with a genuine interest for marine engineering and health and safety measures within the quality department of a company.
Quality Manager Job Overview
- Manage the quality function both in Demark and the UK - for the company
- Ensure that the company complies with the requirements of the marine equipment directive and regulations.
- To provide the administration necessary to ensure the satisfactory maintenance of specified Quality, Production and Engineering records.
- Co-ordinate and control efficiently the company's document, drawing and data control system.
- Manage and conduct audits of company systems to ensure compliance with the Quality manual, relevant standards and customer requirements.
Quality Manager Job Requirements
- Experience working in a quality management position - within engineering and manufacturing.
- An understanding of ISO9001 and GDPR standards / regulations.
- A strong engineering background and knowledge within marine engineering.
- Experience with health and safety procedures and management within a business.
- Based within a commutable distance of Portsmouth, Hampshire.
- Full UK driving licence is strongly preferable.
Quality Manager Salary & Benefits
- Salary - £48,000 to £50,000 - dependent upon experience.
- Full time position - Monday to Friday.
