Conveyancing - Support RoleLocation: PortsmouthPosition: Permanent - Full TimeSalary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOEAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant / Supporting Paralegal to join our client’s expanding Residential Property team. If you have a passion for property law and are eager to contribute to complex, high-quality legal work, this is the perfect opportunity for you.In this role, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of property matters, providing essential support to a busy team and contributing to the success of valuable transactions. As a Legal Assistant, you will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of self management and initiative to effectively carry out administrative duties in line with company procedures and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing correspondence and documents using audio typing, word processing or digital dictation methods
  • Attending clients, both in person and on the telephone, in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring excellent client care and communication
  • Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up-to-date diary for the fee earner
  • Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch and ensuring all copying is completed
