Paralegal - ConveyancingPortsmouth£26,000 - 28,000 DOEMy client is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join their Conveyancing team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to Fee Earners, ensuring a smooth and efficient conveyancing process.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle calls from clients, solicitors, and agents, providing quotes and taking instructions.
  • Open files and carry out necessary ID and Money Laundering checks.
  • Obtain redemption figures, title documentation, and prepare contract documentation.
  • Apply for searches and report on findings, addressing additional enquiries as required.
  • Assist with mortgage reporting, exchange of contracts, and post-exchange administration.
  • Maintain diaries, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with all processes.
  • Type correspondence, manage case files using the Case Management system, and ensure professional communication with clients.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in conveyancing preferred, though a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in IT and case management software.
