Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead our warehouse operations and ensure that our customers receive the highest quality service.
Position:?Warehouse Supervisor Location:?Portsmouth Salary:?£13.60 per hour Schedule:?Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Repair:?Oversee the building of furniture items to order and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Order Preparation:?Manage the packing and labelling of orders, ensuring they are ready for timely collection.
- Instruction Compliance:?Follow written instructions and diagrams to maintain accuracy in the assembly and repair process.
- Collaboration:?Work closely with other departments to foster a team-oriented environment and enhance operational efficiency.
- General Duties:?Perform general warehouse duties as required to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience:?Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred, particularly in supervisory positions.
- Technical Skills:?Proficiency with basic hand tools is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages is required to facilitate effective communication and documentation.
- Forklift Licence:?While a forklift licence is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement for this role but you must have FLT experience.
