Team Jobs is currently seeking a candidate with Manufacturing Engineer experience in Portsmouth.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimising manufacturing processes within an industrial plant. Focusing on equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods and workforce use. Also, identify the parts and tools needed to meet product specifications.
The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following skills:
- Qualifications or relevant experience to meet the job standards.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team.
-Ability to oversee continuous improvement and process engineering responsibilities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and designing manufacturing processes in industrial plants.
- Maximizing efficiency by analysing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilisation.
- Determining parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.
Job type: Full time
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and
Friday - 08:00 - 12:00
Pay Rate - 30-35 depending on experience.
Drug screening is required before the agreed start.
