Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Portsmouth. This is a contract role until June 2025, with possibility of extension.
JOB ROLE
Plans and designs manufacturing processes in industrial plant.
Maximizes efficiency by analysing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
Determines parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
May require a bachelors degree in engineering and related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Monday to Friday – 8am to 4:45pm
