A leading marine company is urgently seeking a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The role involves designing and specifying hydraulic systems, including producing schematics and 3D models, as well as developing and testing these systems.
Candidates are required to have a higher education in Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, Control Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in CAD design, particularly Siemens NX, and experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software are essential.
The position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Hydraulic Systems Engineer

Our client a leading marine company is urgently looking for a hydraulic systems engineer. Will he Collaborate with a small, dynamic team of engineers to develop systems for commercial, leisure and shipping sectors of the Marine Industry. Also, Design and specification of hydraulic systems from producing schematics to 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components. Have experience in Produce documentation and calculations to support designs. Able to modelling of hydraulic systems with Simcenter AMEsim for validation of systems. Have experience in Develop and test hydraulic systems. Supplier selection and management.

Requirements:

Higher education within a Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, control systems or related field

NFPC (or equivalent) or Hydraulics Training

Understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components.

Understanding of Mechanical systems.

Experience with CAD design, preferably Siemens NX.

Experience in creation of hydraulic schematics.

Strong experience with Microsoft office applications

Desirable skills:-

Experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software
Knowledge of marine industry, classification societies and electrical systems or PLC systems

EPlan ECAD experience
