The role is for a Marine Engineer / Technical Engineer in the public sector, starting in January 2025 for a contract length of 194 working days.
The position is based in Portsmouth, with some travel required to other sites, and falls inside IR35 regulations.
The pay rate for this role is up to £400 per day via an umbrella company.
Candidates must have relevant maritime background and experience, along with an STCW Engineering OOW or Deck OOW to STCW lll/2 or higher.
Active SC Clearance is preferred, but candidates with lapsed clearance may be considered, and experience in financial control and stakeholder collaboration is required.
