Are you from an Electronics / Communications or similar background? On offer is a dynamic and unique opportunity offering full training to become a specialist in the Maritime Communications sector within a leading company who pride themselves on ongoing development of staff in a role offering clear progression and the chance to travel internationally.
This leading company are a multi-faceted provider of Satellite Communications to a broad range of clients primarily within the Military and Defence sectors. They have seen continual growth in the past 50 years to the point they now have over 300 employees across multiple continents around the globe and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team.
In this varied role you will receive full training to become a specialist in satellite communications systems and following this will then undertake a range of installs, PPM and reactive maintenance. You will initially be shadowing senior members of the team and then will be travelling to customer sites both in the UK and around Europe.
This varied role would suit an Electronics / Communications or similar Graduate looking to kickstart their career within a leading company offering a platform to build your career and become a specialist in a niche sector.
The Role:
- Undertake Installs, PPM and Reactive maintenance on Communications systems
- Work with primarily military clients but also those within commercial areas
- Shadow senior engineers then undertake travel both within the UK and Europe
The Person:
- Graduate in Electronics / Communications or similar
- Looking to build a career in Marine / Defence or similar
- Happy to undertake regular travel
