We are looking for an experieinced Technician / Fitter for a permement role based in Portmouth.

Job Title: Technician / FitterHours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:We are looking for a dedicated Technician / Fitter to handle the servicing, repair, installation, and maintenance of a wide range of equipment, systems, building facilities, and vehicles. You will also manage and assist with various projects, ensuring all tasks meet company quality standards, customer satisfaction, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul, service, repair, install, and clean equipment, vehicles, and marine systems locally and internationally.
  • Assist with training, supervising, and organizing staff as required.
  • Support project planning and management, ensuring adherence to company and governmental standards.
  • Complete job reports, ensure customer sign-off, and maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with H&S regulations, waste legislation, and company policies.
  • Perform ultrasonic cleaning, wet blasting, HP jet washing, and operate workshop machinery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe work practices.
  • Travel to customer sites, upholding the company’s professional standards.
