Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. This role involves delivering high-quality care across various clinical settings, supporting patients in their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide rehabilitation support in acute and community settings
- Educate and advise patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience (mandatory)
- Strong clinical reasoning and caseload management skills
- Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or relevant specialities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
