Carrington West is hiring a Credit Control Team Leader due to exciting growth! 
As the Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the Credit & Framework Control teams. The primary focus is to monitor the company’s debtors, ensuring all customer debts are recovered effectively and efficiently.

As a credit control team leader, you will be responsible for: 

  • Managing an effective and motivated Credit Control team, ensuring they receive all support, guidance and training they require to achieve both individual and team targets and objectives.
  • Managing an effective and motivated Framework Control team, ensuring they receive all support, guidance and training they require to achieve both individual and team targets and objectives whilst adhering to payroll deadlines.
  • Holding regular 1-1's with both the Framework and Credit Control teams
  • The resolution of queries and managing the relationship between Credit Control and the wider business.
  • Ensuring all customer invoices are paid within agreed payment terms where possible.
  • Managing external debt collection processes which involve debt collection agencies or the small claims court.
  • Monitoring internal deadlines and KPIs of both teams 
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in creating a cohesive accounts department, regularly meeting with other managers in the business 

To be successful as a credit control team leader, you will have the following:
 

  • Staff management experience 
  • Extensive Credit Control experience
  • AAT or equivalent

Desirable requirements: 

  • Experience with invoice discounting facilities
  • Experience working in a recruitment firm 
  • CICM qualification
