TV Reception Systems Field Service Engineer - IRS, Satellite and Aerial systems
Looking for an experienced TV Reception Systems Engineer to work primarily on IRS Systems installed in blocks of flats in the South Coast area.
You will be resolving issues with Satellite Dishes, UHF Aerials, IRS distribution systems, Block Wiring etc.
You must be physically comfortable with ladders, drills, and the dish / aerial installations, although the majority of calls are head-end related faults.
This is a full-time permanent role; salary is negotiable around £30K basic + business use company van.
The centre of patch is Portsmouth, applicants living anywhere within a reasonable drive will be considered.
Standard hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 door to door.
In addition, there is contractual on call 1 weekend in 10, a £100 on call payment (you can do more weekends as overtime if desired, this is all paid at x1.5).
All hours including travel time are paid, resulting in most Engineers earning 5-10 hours extra per week, which adds over £5000 to the salary.
To apply for this role, you must:
- Have a full UK manual drivers’ licence (max 6 points).
- Be able to pass a basic DBS check (criminal records check).
- Have worked as a Satellite or UHF Aerial Engineer / Installer.
- Be flexible to cover the south coast area.
