Location: Portsmouth
Job type: Contract, 3 months on-going
Rate: £12.69- £13.80 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-12:30
We are seeking a Metal Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing client.
Metal Fabricator Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required specifications.
Operate and maintain tools and machinery such as presses, brakes, and spot welders.
Interpret technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precision in the fabrication process.
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational issues.
Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.
Metal Fabricator skills and experiences:
Previous experience in fabrication in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery.
De-burring experience is ideal.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
