Cover Supervisor - Portsmouth

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic school in Portsmouth. This is a great opportunity to work in a school with a superb atmosphere and ethos, where students are respected, engaged, and encouraged to achieve their best.

Role Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Oversee classes across various subjects during teacher absences.
Ensure students are focused and engaged with their assigned work.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
Uphold the school's values and contribute to the overall school community.

Position: Cover Supervisor

Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent
Full time/Part time: Full time
Rate of Pay: £90 - £110 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong classroom management skills.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this).

Eligibility

Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
Able to provide two professional references, preferably from within an educational setting.
