Job Opportunity: Commercial Plumber - Hospital Setting, Portsmouth

Are you a skilled and reliable plumber with experience in commercial settings? We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Plumber to join our client's maintenance team within a hospital environment in Portsmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real impact on essential healthcare facilities, working to maintain and improve plumbing systems in a safe and secure environment.

Key Details:

  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, a mix of day and late shifts, with 1 weekend in 4 (you'll get days off during the week on that weekend)
  • Salary: 37,000 - 38,372 per annum

Your Role: As a Commercial Plumber in the hospital, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and maintaining the plumbing systems within the hospital
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on sewers and drains
  • Working on steam and hot water systems
  • General maintenance duties across the site
  • Ensuring all plumbing systems are operating efficiently and safely

Training & Development: Don't worry if you're not familiar with every aspect of the role-plenty of training will be provided to ensure you can carry out all required tasks confidently and competently.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified plumber with relevant commercial experience
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, steam, and hot water systems
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, especially in a healthcare setting
