An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to join our team and take full accountability for the overall safe operational and commercial performance of your region at SGN.
As a Regional Manager, you will drive operational targets, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the highest levels of safety across your team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, managing budgets, and leading a diverse group of frontline and managerial staff. You’ll also play a critical role in resource forecasting, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving improvements in safety, health, and environmental performance.

- Setting the strategic vision for the region, translating objectives into actionable plans.
- Promoting a culture of positive safety and zero harm within SGN.
- Overseeing resource management, ensuring the right people and equipment are in place to meet operational needs.
- Managing a multi-million-pound budget and ensuring activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Leading and developing a diverse team, providing coaching, instruction, and visible leadership to drive performance and development.
- Taking decisive action during emergency incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution while prioritising safety.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to drive productivity and operational excellence, as well as fostering collaboration across regions.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on operational and commercial performance, as well as safety culture.
- An understanding of core operational processes, including emergency response is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to lead and inspire a team, driving safety and performance in all aspects of the role.
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and strategic planning.
