Academics are seeking an experienced and empathetic Primary SEMH Teacher to carry out a full-time assignment in a Primary SEMH School in Portsmouth. This is a full-time opportunity starting ASAP, on-going.

They are a special school in Portsmouth catering for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated needs such as autism, ADHD and attachment disorders. All of the pupils experience challenging behaviour so this is suited to a Primary SEMH Teacher with previous experience of teaching in a similar setting, or with pupils with challenging behaviours and/or special educational needs.

The suitable Primary SEMH Teacher will be resilient and possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills, but also be empathetic and be able to build positive relationships with the young children.
