Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant - PortsmouthAcademics are currently recruiting Behavioural Support Teaching Assistants who has good behavioural management skills in Portsmouth, to fulfil a full time, term time role in a provision within a Portsmouth Primary School.The role of Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant involves enabling young people to develop and make progress by providing physical, emotional and nurturing support during their school day as well as supporting the Teacher in your classroom. This means you must have great communication skills in order to build relationships with both your students and the staff. The position of Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant involves working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that makes the health, safety, care and welfare of young people a priority.

To be a successful Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant you will be a strong team player, confident, motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all, you'll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. You must be Portsmouth based or be willing to travel into the area.
